More Bill Payment Options
Keep your Alectra account current during a postal disruption
As an Alectra customer you still are responsible for paying your monthly bill, even during a postal service disruption. To avoid any potential late fees, we encourage you to choose an electronic payment method like on-line banking, tele-banking and pre-authorized payments. Login to My Account to view your account online and to register online for ebilling. If we do experience Canada Post service disruption, please accept our thanks in advance for your co-operation, patience and assistance.
We have now made it more convenient than ever to pay your bills offering the following convenient payment methods.
By signing up for e-billing, you will receive your paperless bill and pay it in an easy, secure and environmentally-friendly way.
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD)

This option is available through most banks and trust companies. It allows you to pay your bill by use of your touch-tone phone.

Credit Card Payments
Pay your Alectra Utilities bill online through EZ-Pay, powered by KUBRA, our third party credit card payment service, or by calling 647-951-8302. You will be charged a separate convenience fee of 1.75% of the payment amount.
Please note the confirmation number for future reference. Note that payments can take up to three business days to process to your account. Please contact our Collections department at (905) 840-6300, if your account is in arrears.

About the convenience fee
The convenience fee is intended to help pay the high costs of maintaining a secure internet payment mechanism, the infrastructure/technology to support such, and ensuring your financial/personal data is kept secure at all times.
Please make your cheque or money order payable to Brampton Hydro or Alectra Utilities, place your payment in an envelope, and deposit it into the 24 hour drop box at our office location at:

MoneyGram is a money transfer service that allows you to safely and quickly pay your bill using cash or debit card. It is available at more than 6,000 Canada Post offices and some grocery and drug stores. Same day bill payment service is $9.99 and next day bill payment service is $3.99.
